How do you answer why Tufts?
Your answer should discuss what draws you to this program, not the school in general. Look through their mission statement, the experiences of other applicants, and preferably visit the campus for a tour to help you better explain why this school draws you in over others.
What is special about Tufts?
The reputation. Tufts is diversity. The campus itself is a mixture between a small liberal arts college and a major research university and its students have a sense of community while maintaining a global awareness. Students also come from every state in the country and other nations in all corners of the globe.
Does Tufts require an essay?
First-year and transfer applicants have a choice about whether or not to submit SAT or ACT scores to be considered for undergraduate admission to Tufts University. We do not require SAT Subject Tests, the SAT Essay, or the writing section of the ACT, nor are they reviewed in our evaluation process.
