What to do if your lens front element is scratched?
To the OP, for the short term, draw over the scratch with a Sharpie. This will prevent it from introducing flare to your images. You may find that when filled in with a sharpie, there is no noticeable affect on image quality. If you do decide you want to get the front element replaced, let us know how much the repair costs.
