Why would both my headlights go out at the same time?
When both headlights stop working at the same time, the bulbs usually aren’t at fault. The main exception is when one headlight burns out first, goes unnoticed for some time, and then the other bulb also fails. If this is the case, then replacing the bulbs should fix your problem.

I have a 08 Mazda 3. Both of my low beam headlights quit working at the same time. I checked the fuses both under the dash and hood and they are all good. Checked volts at the headlight connection and there is none. I have seen a lot of posts regarding this but none that have a fix.

Both headlight relays are inside the PJB, and not accessible unless you disassemble the PJB. I don’t even know if they can be replaced… they are likely soldered to the circuit board. If the highbeams also do not work then, you should check the 40A fuse in the fuse box under the hood (F4).
