When do you get a letter from Compassion International?

After you sponsor a child, you will receive a letter from them within four months. Typically, your child will find out that they are sponsored about 2-3 weeks after you make your first contribution. Will I receive confirmation when my child gets my letter? No, you will not receive a confirmation when your child receives your letter.

Why did I choose to sponsor Compassion International?

I chose CI because of reviews at places like Charity Navigator, and that I liked the concept of sponsoring a particular child and communicating with them (I also sponsor through Save the Children for the same reason). You are supposed to get 2 letters a year from your child, and you can send as many as you want.

Where can I donate sheets for Compassion International?

Items in excess of six sheets, will be donated to a children’s charity in Colorado Springs. Items that cannot be donated will be discarded. If you would like to send an additional gift we encourage you to consider giving a gift to your child or their family.
