In the anime Team Magma and Team Aqua confronted each other in A Three Team Scheme! and Fight for the Meteorite!. They eventually clashed in Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends, and their feud ended in a destructive fight between the two super-ancient Pokémon, Groudon and Kyogre.
