How do I get an iClicker access code?
Click on your current subscription. Click Enter Access Code. Scratch off the panel on your Reef Access Code card (bundled with your iClicker 2 remote) to reveal your access code. Enter the 12-character access code, then click Submit.
What is iClicker reef access?
iClicker is a classroom interactive response system that allows students to participate in polls and answer questions during class. Students can respond with a physical iClicker remote or their mobile device using the Reef app (if enabled).
Can you share iClickers?
The ASUC has a limited number of iClickers each semester that they rent for $5. You can share an iClicker remote with a friend or roommate as long as you do not need it for the same course, and, obviously, as long as the courses requiring clickers occur at different times.
Do you have to pay to register iClicker?
Currently, only students who register on iclicker.com will pay a fee. In subsequent terms, students who register within an LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, Sakai, D2L) will also have to pay the registration fee. Student who purchase a new remote are able to register at no charge.
Does iClicker cost money?
Creating an iClicker student account is free. Upon creating an account, students have a 14-day free trial period to use the iClicker student app to participate in class.
Can I use my iClicker from home?
A: Yes. iClicker Cloud supports the use of mobile devices and laptops in your class. iClicker Cloud allows for students to participate using mobile devices and laptops by default. If you are using iClicker Classic, you must enable the use of mobile devices and laptops in your course settings.
Can you register an iClicker twice?
Yes, you may register multiple remotes for any reason.
How do I know if my iClicker is registered?
Check your iClicker student app profile to see if you have registered your remote. Depending on how your instructor is using iClicker, you should have also entered your Student ID here. Select Register Remotes to verify that you have successfully registered your 8-digit remote ID in the iClicker student app.
Do I have to register my iClicker for every class?
Do I need to register my remote for each class? No, you only need to register once. Once registered, your information will automatically apply to all of the classes in which you are enrolled and using i>clicker.
How do you use Iclicker?
To turn on your iClicker, press the On/Off button at the bottom of the clicker. The power light should shine blue. The clicker will remain on for 90 minutes as long as there is an activated base in your classroom. If you leave class and forget to turn off your clicker, it will automatically turn off after 5 minutes.
